BRAND MANAGER

JTI Turkey is looking for Brand Manager who will be based in Istanbul.

The incumbent will be reporting to Brand Management Manager.

Position Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for the stewardship of brand equity and translating brand strategies into plans with focus on brand programs’ development and brand performance measurement. As brand custodian he/she will be in regular contact with JTI global brand management, global/local communication agencies and closely collaborate with other members of the Marketing and Sales functions to ensure consistency.

Responsibilities

Brand Management Support the development of all elements of the marketing mix to strengthen brand equity, ensure alignment to brand positioning in line with both global guidelines and local specificities.

Brand Performance Evaluation Ensure on-going follow up and monthly reporting on brand metrics evaluation (brand awareness, perception, brand equity and commercial KPIs) to highlight potential issues and opportunities while following up competitive activities both on local and global level.

Launch Plans Plan, develop and timely implement launch materials, programs and activities in line with Global Brand guidelines and in cooperation with other departments.

New Product Development (NPD) Manage NPD processes of new product and packaging initiatives in line with the time-plans together with smooth alignment and coordination with relevant parties.

Agency Management Brief, debrief and coordinate the projects and new launch plans with local agencies.

Budget Optimize, manage and control related budget in order to ensure the effective allocation of the resources that are in line with the agreed strategies for related brands.

Qualifications & Experience

  • University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in FMCG marketing, trade marketing and/or sales functions.
  • Fluency in English.
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Proactive and a good team player with strong communication skills.
  • Work Authorization to be employed in Turkey (citizenship or work permit).
